Jack started his career playing the role of Sky in Mamma Mia in Londons Westend. He then went onto play Rum Tum Tugger in Cats The Musical on the South Korea and Taiwan Tour. After recently playing the title role of Dick Whittington in the Richmond Theatre, Jack is set to play Romeo in the Original UK and Ireland tour of & Juliet starting this year!

Hi I’m Jack Danson.
Back in the year of 2017, I joined Bird College Conservatoire of Dance and Musical Theatre. I had always dreamed of becoming a leading man within the Musical Theatre Industry and I never let self doubt pull me away from my dream. During my Third year at college, after a lot of auditioning and mistakes made, I was offered the role of Sky in MAMMA MIA in Londons Westend. During this contract, I tore my meniscus on stage, leaving me bed-ridden for eight months learning to walk again, but I never let negative thoughts overcome me. I then came back to finish the job later in the year physically and mentally stronger than ever. After such event, after more auditioning, i then was lucky enough to Tour Internationally around South Korea and Taiwan playing the iconic role of The Rum Tum Tugger in Cats the Musical. (A dance heavy musical… who would’ve thought right?) During this contract, I ironically broke my hand and came back to finish the musical, again even stronger mentally and physically. Following this, after more auditioning, I joined the Richmond Theatre pantomime playing the title role in Dick Whittington and am now waiting to start rehearsals for The Original & Juliet UK and Ireland Tour playing the part of Romeo. All so far without Injury... so i'm hoping the curse has finally been broken. Ive always dreamt of playing Leading roles and I made sure I would not settle for less. Whatever your goals are DO NOT let doubt creep in. Believe in yourself and craft who you wish to become! 🫵🏽
